Juanita Crochet Chaisson

Juanita Crochet Chaisson, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. She was a native and longtime resident of Houma, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Visitation at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Saturday, November 8, 2025, beginning at 9:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Juanita is survived by her children, Terry Lynn Chaisson Daigre, Darlene Chaisson Coffman and husband Kenneth, Raoul Joseph Chaisson; grandchildren, Nikki Chaisson Beetz, Ketti Chaisson Spears, Dustin Parkhill, Jessica Coffman, Daniel Coffman, Kristi Chaisson Bergeron, Bryson Chaisson and Harlie Chaisson; 11 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and one on the way.

Juanita is preceded in death by her loving husband of 71 years, Joseph Paul Chaisson, Sr., her parents, Houston Joseph Crochet and Lena LeBlanc Crochet; son, Joseph Paul Chaisson, Jr.; son-in-law, Gilbert Ray Daigre; granddaughter, Emily Chaisson; great-great granddaughter, Elleanor Claire Bergeron and her brother, Paul C. Crochet, Sr.
