Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joshua Cabe Hundley, who left this world on August 6, 2026, at the age of 45. Born on July 1, 1981, in Junction City, Kansas, Josh spent his life bringing joy and laughter to everyone he encountered.

His greatest accomplishment in life were his two children, Madison and Cooper. He was the best dad they could have ever asked for. As a devoted father to his children, Josh cherished every moment spent as a softball dad, proudly cheering on Madison from the sidelines and sharing unforgettable memories on and off the field and immersing himself in the exciting world of 3D printing with his son, Cooper. His passion extended beyond his children; whether he was sharing a laughter-filled day of golfing with friends, indulging in the thrill of fishing and hunting. Josh always embraced life with an infectious enthusiasm.

With over 20 years of service in the Oilfield Industry, he worked the majority of his time as a Project Manager. Josh's dedication and work ethic were a testament to his character. He was known for his humorous dad jokes that could brighten even the darkest of days, and his generous spirit made him a cherished friend and family member to many. He was known for his compassion and selflessness.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind, daughter, Madison Hundley; son, Cooper Hundley (mother of his children, Tobi Hundley); sister-in-law, Angelle Gregoire (Lionel and their family); mother-in-law, Carissa LeBeouf; grandmother, Phyllis Potter; mother, Dawn Wells; brother, Nic Guy; and step-siblings. He is also survived by numerous extended family members.

Josh is preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Potter; father-in-law, Michael LeBeouf; mother-in-law, Tina Roddy; step-father (Dad), Robert Vincent.

A Celebration of Life will take place in Chapel Dauhphine of Chauvin Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at a later date.

Though he may no longer be with us in body, Josh's spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives he touched. We invite everyone who knew and loved him to join us in commemorating the remarkable life of Joshua Cabe Hundley, a true friend, father, brother, son, and jokester who will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
