Obituary

Jill Bonvillain left this world peacefully on August 17, 2026, embraced by the unwavering love of her family, her beloved husband and cherished daughter. At 64, her life was a testament to love, kindness, and the beauty she brought into the world. She was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, and a grandmother whose warmth and grace will forever remain etched in our hearts.

She is lovingly survived by her unwaveringly devoted husband of 43 beautiful years, Randy Bonvillain, whose love and companionship were the anchor of her life. Her heart belonged deeply to her precious daughter, Brittany Pellegrin, and son-in-law, Kevin Pellegrin, whose bond brought her endless pride and joy. Her spirit lives on in the companionship of her beloved dogs—Maggie, CeCe, and Princess—who brought her comfort and unconditional love. She was an adoring grandmother whose heart overflowed with love for her two cherished granddaughters, Madison and Melanie Pellegrin, whose smiles and presence lit up her world. She was one of eleven siblings, a vital part of a large and loving family, with numerous nieces and nephews who cherished her dearly.

She was proceeded in death by her parents James and Jeanette Doiron, brothers, Kermit Doiron and Jude Doirion, mother-in-law, Una Bonvillain, father-in-law, Nootsie Bonvillain, sisters-in-law, Judy Champagne and Susan Smith, and brothers-in-law Michael Smith and Gene Champagne.

To know Jill was to love Jill. She carried an unwavering love for helping others, with a genuine servant’s spirit that warmed everyone around her. No act was too small, no task too daunting—Jill was always ready to reach out, to give, and to lift others up with boundless kindness. Her greatest joy in life was the precious moments spent with her beloved family and friends, especially now, as she embraced the beauty of her newfound retirement from Enterprise Offshore. She poured her heart into every moment—whether at school functions, dance recitals, or sporting events—her presence a shining beacon of love and support for her two granddaughters, whom she cherished beyond words. Jill’s life was a testament to love, compassion, and an unbreakable devotion to those she held dear, leaving a legacy that will forever inspire and touch our hearts.

She will be desperately missed. Her spirit, her warmth, and her love will forever remain deeply engraved in the hearts and memories of her family and friends, cherishing her forever.

The family humbly and deeply thanks the compassionate EMTs and paramedics of Acadian Ambulance, as well as the doctors and nurses of the emergency room and critical care unit at Terrebonne General Medical Center, whose heartfelt care supported her through every step of her final journey.

Family and friends are invited to attend the services of Jill on Saturday, August 29, 2026 with Visitation with the family beginning at 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral Liturgy Service beginning at 11:00 am.
