Jenna Bridget Sumrall

Jenna Bridget Sumrall, 39, a native and resident of Houma, La. passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation for Jenna on Monday June 5, 2023, beginning at 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home in the Magnolia Chapel. Visitation will resume on Tuesday June 6, 2023, beginning at 9:00a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00a.m. at St. Francis Cathedral in Houma.

Jenna is survived by her son, Ryley Russo; her daughter, Jude Sumrall; her parents, Jerry and Sheila Sumrall; her brother, Justin Sumrall; her paternal grandmother, Mabel Laverne; her maternal grandparents, Max and Charlene Guidry; her aunts, Cindy Dugas (Larry), Becky Sumrall, Roye Marie Matherne (Jared), and Connie Haydel (Crandell) ; her uncle, Jerome Bourque (Holly), Richard Bourque (Tricia), Joey Bourque and David Bourque.

Jenna was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Jerry L. Sumrall; her aunt, Sheryl Sumrall.

Jenna was a loving daughter and mother. She was always a happy person whose laugh was infectious and could always be heard around the house. She was a great writer, an honest and helpful person, and never missed an opportunity to tell her loved ones that she loved them. She also loved to do hair, nails, and make-up.
