It is with great sadness yet a spirit of celebration that we announce the passing of Jasmine C'ne Nixon, who left us on May 3, 2026, at the age of 38. Born on November 6, 1987, in Houma, Louisiana, Jasmine was a vibrant and joyous soul whose light will be forever remembered by all who had the privilege to know her.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Saturday, May 9, 2026 beginning at 10:00 a.m. till the time of her Celebration of Life service at 12:00 p.m.
Jasmine was known for her warm smile and unyielding compassion for others. She embraced life with an infectious enthusiasm and was often the “life of the party.” Her love for singing, acting silly, and her unwavering passion for helping others made her a beloved figure in her community and among her friends. An avid traveler, Jasmine cherished the moments spent exploring the world beyond the United States, creating unforgettable memories amidst breathtaking landscapes and diverse cultures. Her lively spirit and love for adventure brought joy everywhere she ventured, and her TikTok community will fondly remember her for her engaging live battles and outgoing personality.
To cherish Jasmine’s memory is her cherished children Jashay Nixon, Diavion Nixon and Emon Nixon, her siblings; Orelle Nixon, Brian Nixon and Dominique Nixon, her parents; Tyna Nixon-Simmons and Michael Boyd, her grandmother, Betty Maxie, and a host of godchildren, nieces/nephews, best friends & kids she looked at as her own.
Jasmine is reunited in Heaven with her son Shamel Nixon, her grandfather, Herman Nixon, Jr., her great-aunts; Joyce Ann Nixon, Ellen Nixon Jones, Evelyn Turner Mason, Evelyn Mason and Rosalie Williams, her great grandmother’s, Georgie Stewart, Sadie Olister Pearl Nixon and Sylvia Dunbar, her great grandfather’s, Westley Nixon and Albert Turner, and her fur baby Bruno Nixon.
Jasmine C'ne Nixon will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Let us celebrate her life and carry forward her legacy of love, laughter, and adventure.
