Ivan "Rusty" Washburne

Ivan “Rusty” Washburne, 66, a native of Brattleboro, Vermont and resident of Houma, Louisiana passed away Wednesday December 26,2018 at 12:28 P.M.

Services will be announced at a later date.

Mr. Rusty is survived by his sons ; Basilio Juan, Ivan Hulu William and Michael Brian Wishburne; daughters; Virginia Rose Garcia, Vanessa Janet Washburne, Debbie Katheryn Washburne and Maribelle Washburne Rebstock; brother; Paul Ivan Washburn;13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Rose Garcia; and birthmother; Winifred Blanchard Washburne.

Mr. Rusty was a seaman in the U.S. Navy and the recepient of many medals during his tenure.
