It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Irvin "Noonie" Michael Thomas, born on January 28, 1967, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Irvin departed this life on August 30, 2026, at the age of 59, leaving behind many cherished memories. 

Irvin is survived by his mother, Rebecca Newton Thomas; daughter, Cherilneeka Thomas; grandson; and numerous family and friends.

Irvin is preceded in death by his father, Irvin Norra; grandmother, Lula Thomas Ross; grandfather, Mansfield Wilkerson.

Irvin was a talented athlete in his youth, excelling in both football and basketball. 

Irvin spent many years as a Courier at Terrebonne General Hospital, where he demonstrated unwavering dedication and his commitment to serving others. Later on, he began work as a Radiation Technician offshore, where he spent an impactful 11 years contributing to the field.

Irvin's vibrant spirit and warm heart will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
