Hugh P. “Boy” LeBlanc, 86, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021at 6:02PM. Hugh was a native of Boudreaux Canal, LA and resident of Chauvin, LA.
Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a Visitation on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 5:00PM until 9:00PM and continue on Monday, June 28, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin, LA from 9:00AM until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin follow visitation on Monday, June 28, 2021 at St. Joseph Church at 11:00AM. Burial will take place after services in St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
Hugh is survived by his loving wife of sixty-nine years, June Neil LeBlanc; son, Brian LeBlanc, Marla LeBlanc, Shana Ledet (Steve); brothers, Hubert LeBlanc (Lynette), Lynn LeBlanc (Debbie); grandchildren, Ronnie LeBlanc, Jr. (Amy), Thelma LeBlanc, Laci Dardar (Kirk), Matthew LeBlanc (Lindsey), Nikkia “Nik” LeBlanc, Mallory Lapeyrouse, Rusty Ledet (Katy), Kylie Scott (Sheldon); twenty loving great grandchildren, and two loving great grandchildren.
Hugh is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert LeBlanc and Rose Kernan LeBlanc; mother-in-law, May Neil; and father-in-law, Luby Neil; son, Ronnie LeBlanc; daughter-in-law, Caprise LeBlanc; brother, Riley LeBlanc; sisters, Elizabeth Gautreaux, Carolyn Trosclair; nephew, Glenn Gautreaux.
Hugh loved to cook for family and friends. Hugh enjoyed and loved the time spent with his family and their family activities and vacations. Hugh was proud of working with Texaco Oil Company for thirty-four years. He also enjoyed going to the casino and watching all sports.
Hugh will be forever remembered, never forgotten and always loved by his family and those he met throughout his life.
