Hubert "Bert" Duplantis

Hubert Warren “Bert” Duplantis, age 64, a native of Raceland, LA and resident of Boutte, La, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023.

A visitation will be held in honor of Bert on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 8:30a.m. until the Funeral Service at 10:00a.m., in Magnolia Chapel at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma, LA. Interment will follow in St. Elie cemetery in Upper Little Caillou, LA.

Bert is survived by his four brothers, Elwin J “Boogie” Duplantis II (Joy), John Charles Duplantis (Laura), Michael P Duplantis (Teresa) and Richard Duplantis and numerous nephews and nieces.

Bert is preceded in death by his parents, L.J. “Yot” and Melva Duplantis; his brother, L.J. “Lynn” Duplantis, Jr.; his sister, Gwendolyn D. Gonzales; his nephew Elwin J “Joey” Duplantis III.
