Hattie is survived by her loving family; her daughter, Cathy Ann Verret Bergeron and husband Michael of Houma, LA, Sister-in-law, Mary Theresa Francis Verret of Dulac, LA; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Hattie is preceded in passing by her parents, Joseph Trazimond Verret and Lucille Elizabeth "Lizabet" Lee Verret; maternal grandparents, Angelle Thibodaux Lee and Joseph Robert Lee; and her loving paternal grandparents; and brothers, Arthur Walter Verret and wife Mary Katherine Foret, Paul Raymond Verret, Joseph Isaac Verret, Anthony GIlbert Verret, Edmond Verret and John "Jean" Isaac Verret and wife Mary Alice Dion; her sisters, Margaret "T-Mae" Solet and husband Joseph Ivy, Dora Antoinette Billiot and husband Nolan Joseph "NeeNee", and Victoria Lynn Verret.

Hattie worked at a shrimp factory when she was younger, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved the Lord and often attended church and gave of her time in the service to others. She was friendly, loving, kind, generous, courageous and so much more to her family and friends. They will never forget her loving personality and her great sense of humor. Hattie loved to laugh and share jokes with others. Hattie deeply loved her daughter, her cats and spending time with her loved ones; both family and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Audubon Hospice of Baton Rouge. Also, a huge "Thank you" to her family and neighbors who gave of their time, love and care.
