Harold Favret, Jr.

Harold F. Favret Jr., 78, passed away Tuesday morning, January 23, 2018 at 3:21AM. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Houma, LA.

Friends and family are invited to attend visitation on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church from 9:00AM until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin Saturday, January 27, 2018 at St. Anthony at 11:00AM. Burial will follow in Bayou Black Cemetery.

Harold is survived by his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Linda Dufour Favret; children, Harold F. Favret III, Mark Favret and wife Clysse, Renee Harson and husband Ched, and Jeanne Hamner and husband Craig; sisters, Patsy Soniat and husband Joel, Ruthie Chickini and husband Barry, Gayle Taylor and husband Tommy, sister-in-Law, Jeanie Favret; grandchildren, Matthew Favret, Sarah Favret, Bridgette and husband Mat Lambourn, Derek Favret and wife Brie, Jordan and husband Soloman Benghan, Ched Harson Jr., and Jeanne Harson, Andrea Hamner, Brennan Hamner; great grandchildren, Avery and Beau Lambourn; and numerous nieces and nephews, friends.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Harold Favret Sr. and Ruth Johnson Favret; brother, Charley Favret; sister, Marie Hyland.

Harold was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard Reserves. He served his Faith as a 4^th Degree Knight of Columbus at St. Francis de Sales. Harold enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

The family would like to thank Haydel Memorial Hospice, the staff at T.G.M.C., and Nicole Evans.
