Harlan Belanger, Sr.

Harlan Fields Belanger Sr., 75, a native and resident of Houma, passed away on October 22, 2024.

He is survived by his children Sherri (Tripp), Cecily (Nick W.), and Nicholas "Nick"; grandchildren Noah, Zoey and Lincoln; siblings, John (Nancy), Jean (Glenn), Henrietta (Danny), Mary "Aggie" (Eddie), Van, and Mark (Denise); and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Harlan F. Belanger Jr., his parents, Roland J. Belanger, Sr. and Claire Boudreaux Belanger; brothers, Roland J. Belanger, Jr. and Louis J. Belanger; sisters, Claire L. "Cookie" Belanger and Alice A. Belanger; and nieces and nephews, Heather R. Belanger, Glenn D. Landry, Jr. and William E. Clark, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Monday October 28, 2024 at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the St. Francis de Sales Cemetery II at a later date.
