Gerald Joseph LeBoeuf Sr., affectionately known as "Mr. G," passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, in Houma, Louisiana, at the age of 83. Born on July 8, 1942, in Reserve, Louisiana, Gerald lived a life marked by love, dedication, and a deep connection to his family and roots.
For over 60 remarkable years of marriage, Gerald cherished and spoiled his beloved wife Loretta LeBoeuf. Their love story began on the west side of Houma, where memories flourished and a partnership was built on mutual respect and affection.
Gerald was a proud father to daughters Delicia LeBlanc (Kerry) and Leah Fregeau (Craig, Sr.), and son Gerald J. LeBoeuf Jr. (Jenny). He also took great joy in spending time with his grandchildren, Kayla Cuneo (Marc), Hope LeBlanc, Zachary LeBlanc, Erin LeBoeuf, Joseph LeBoeuf (Lauren), Craig Fregeau Jr., Cade Fregeau, and Carson Fregeau and welcomed the title of great-grandfather with immense pride.
Gerald was committed to his profession as a pipe inspector in the oil and gas industry, where he dedicated many years of hard work and integrity. Outside of his career, he found solace in the simple pleasures of life. He could often be found watching classic Westerns, especially John Wayne films, or enjoying quiet moments outdoors while fishing or tending to his garden, nurturing tomatoes, cucumbers, and satsumas.
He was preceded in death by his wife Loretta LeBoeuf and his parents Herbert LeBoeuf and Delicia LeBoeuf.
Friends and family will be invited to gather on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Faith Baptist Church, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at a later date.
