George Broom, Sr.

George Clark Broom, Sr., age 67, passed away Tuesday December 8, 2020. He was a native of Columbia, MS and resident of Houma, La.

Clark is survived by his wife of 27 years, Scotti Broom; daughters, Sarah Jordan (Rayne), Rhonda Hammond, Katrina Broom, Shannon Broom, Christina Lockhart; son, George Clark Broom, Jr.; nineteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Patsy; brothers, Paul (Clara), Berley (Brenda), David (Sheila).

Clark is preceded in death by his parents, George Broom and Selma Roberts; daughter, Stephanie Eidt; grandson, Joshua Eidt.

Clark was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He enjoyed fishing and working on cars. He was a hardworking auto mechanic in his early years. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. The family would like to send a special thanks to April for all her support and care.

A memorial will be held for George Clark Broom, Sr. at a later date.
