Freddie J. "Buddy" Trosclair age 74 Resident of Houma, Native of Westwego departed this life on December 3, 2021, at 4:22pm surrounded by his loved ones.

Family and friends of the family are invited to a celebration of life and memorial service on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. Ministry services will begin at Chauvin Funeral Home on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 3:30pm with the conclusion of services following.

He is survived by his wife Marie "Toni" Trosclair, daughters Rhonda Dupre, (husband Elliott), Juanita Broussard, (husband Todd). Sisters Darlene Billiot and (husband Raymond), Donna Mansfield, brother Tobias Ohmer, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Trosclair, and Nieta Plaisance, son Freddie J. Trosclair Jr. and sister Betty Ann Comeaux.

He worked most of his life as a tugboat captain, where he received a citation for humanitarian and heroic acts after attack on The World Trade Center in New York City on 9-11-2001.

He loved traveling, playing games, fishing, flying R.C. planes and spending time with loved ones.

The family would like to thank the staff of Heart of Hospice, Jodie, Stephanie, and Nikki for all their support and care. We'd also like to thank M.B.P. Cancer center and Dr. Manthri for his kindness and compassion.
