Eunice Rivet

Eunice D. Rivet, age 93, passed away on June 29, 2020 at 11:23 p.m.  She was a native and resident of Gheens, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gheens, Louisiana.  Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the church with burial in Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery.

Eunice is survived by her sons, Hewitt, Jr., (Pie) (Diane), Brian J. (Belinda), Drew, Ty S. (Sherry), and Dray (Amanda); daughter, Trudy Anne R. Plaisance (Levi, Jr.); brother, Carol Dufrene; eighteen (18) grandchildren and twenty six (26) great-grandchildren.

Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, Hewitt (T-Wit) Rivet, Sr.; parents, Andrew and Rosa Matherne Dufrene; grandson, Tad Plaisance, brothers, Harry and Earl and sister, Celestine (T-Tin) Matherne.
