Eunice Pitre, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on May 22, 1943, in Houma, Louisiana, Eunice embodied the spirit of kindness and love, nurturing those around her with an open heart and warm embrace.

Eunice was a devoted homemaker, embracing the joys of family life with grace and passion. She filled her days caring for her loved ones, including her beloved daughter, Tammy Naquin, and her adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Eunice found solace in tending to her vegetable garden, where she derived joy from nurturing life and sharing its bounty with her family. Her heart swelled with pride at the memories created around the dinner table, where laughter and love flowed as freely as the meals she prepared.

In partnership with her late husband, Franklin, Eunice shared a remarkable journey of 68 years filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Together, they cultivated a beautiful life, adorned with the warmth of their family. After Franklin's passing, Eunice continued to radiate love and positivity, making new friends at Chateau Terrebonne Nursing Home, where she enjoyed playing bingo and socializing with her companions.

Those who knew Eunice will remember her vibrant spirit, her laughter that echoed through the halls, and her comforting presence that always made others feel at home. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and the importance of family-a testament to a life well-lived.

Eunice is survived by her beloved children, Marie Lambas, Michael Pitre (Emma), Julia Naquin (Calvin), Tammy Naquin, (Moose), Jason Pitre (Jamie), Evelyn Daley (Brad); abundance of loving grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Franklin Pitre; her father, Oris Scott, and her mother, Evelyn Scott.; son, Franklin Pitre, Jr. (Frank). She is also preceded in death by her loving siblings.
