It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Emma Ann Theriot, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who departed this life on November 28, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on November 11, 1941, in Houma, Louisiana, Emma devoted her life to her family and community. She will be lovingly remembered for her nurturing spirit, unwavering faith, and the countless lives she touched throughout her lifetime.

Emma was a dedicated homemaker and a steadfast parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, where she found solace and strength in her faith. A true prayer warrior, she fervently interceded for her loved ones and embraced her spirituality with sincere devotion. Emma adored her sons, Glenn (Holly) and Wayne (Lisa) Theriot, and found immense joy in the company of her grandchildren, Anna (Jake) Porche, Noah Theriot, Bailey Theriot, Caroline Theriot; anxiously awaiting her first great grandson, Eli Porche; brother, Donald Pitre.

Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Theriot; parents, Annie Pitre and Murphy Pitre;

An avid gardener, Emma enjoyed tending to her flower garden, nurturing beauty and tranquility that mirrored her gentle spirit. She relished yearly trips with her close friends, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Emma enjoyed a wonderful 51 years of marriage to her late husband, Lynn Theriot, with whom she is now reunited in eternal rest.
