She lived a fulfilling life and dedicated 33 years of her career to serving as a bus driver, where she was known for her kindness and dedication to the children she transported.
Easter was a passionate individual with a love for crocheting, sewing, and cooking. She found joy in the pages of her Bible and valued her connection to faith through church attendance, devotion and prayer. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her beloved family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cherishing each moment spent together.
She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
The family would like to send a special thanks to Richard Haydel, Monique, her chronic care nurse at Haydel Clinic, her Dr.'s and nurses at Ochsner of Lafayette, her palliative care team, Hospice of Acadiana Calcutta House, and Brookdale Assisted Living for all of their love and care.
