Born in Schriever, Louisiana at Magnolia Plantation, Sonny was a beloved son, a devoted husband, a cherished father, and an adored paw-paw. He served his country in the U.S. Army with great honor; and after his Honorable Discharge, he then married his cherished wife. Their partnership was the cornerstone of their life together and a testament to the deep love and respect they shared with one another.

Three generations sat around his loving table, and he left us with much loving wisdom. During the many conversations around the table, he taught us that if we were angry about anything to not let that monster live inside of you; It takes away from what really matters, "Family."

Sonny always had a house full of people. Family and friends always knew him home was a place they could come if they needed a place of refuge. Sonny leaves a legacy of deep love and compassion for his family and friends. The memories his family has of him will be enjoyed, as Our Heavenly Father chose him to be our daddy, pawpaw, father-in-law, brother, sister, and friend. We could not have been more blessed!

A private service will be held for immediate family to honor his memory! We appreciate your understanding during this difficult time. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support!
