It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dolores J. Nicoladis, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend. Dolores, a resident of Metairie, Louisiana, was known for her vivacious spirit and unwavering love for her family. She was born on June 3, 1933, in Houma, Louisiana, to Johnnie Jaccuzzo and Dorothy Melancon.

Dolores is survived by her sons; Michael Pete Nicoladis and Timothy John Nicoladis (Janie), her grandchild, Adam Thomas Nicoladis (Meg) and great-grandchild, Jaxon Gerard Nicoladis.

Dolores devoted her life to her family and her work, proudly owning Madam Mop Janitorial Service. She was a strong and loving mother, and she cherished her role as a grandmother.In addition to her family, Dolores was a vibrant member of her community, known for her infectious laughter and love for life. She enjoyed dancing, bowling, and gardening, and she was an active member of the Metairie Red Hatters. Every Sunday, Dolores would dress in glamorous attire to impress her friends at the Jefferson Orleans Ballroom, radiating joy and elegance. Her home was a reflection of her personality-warm and welcoming, filled with crystals and beauty, truly a palace for those she loved. She embodied friendship, fun, and a deep-seated love for life, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.

Dolores is predeceased by her former husband, Pete Mike Nicoladis, her parents, Johnnie Jaccuzzo and Dorothy Melancon and her siblings; Jackie M. Jaccuzzo, Katherine J. Milan, Joanne Thibodeaux, John Jaccuzzo, Robert Jaccuzzo, and Ronald "Micky" Jaccuzzo.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.

Dolores J. Nicoladis will always be remembered as a loving mother, a glamorous lady, and the queen of her family. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
