Diane Fanguy

Diane Voisin Fanguy, 83, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, Dec. 1, 2025.

Visitation will be from 5:30 until 8 p.m. on Thursday Dec. 4, 2025, at the Chauvin Funeral Home in the Magnolia Chapel. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. until Mass time on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Deacon Harold Fanguy; four sons, Ronnie Fanguy and wife, Allison, Keith Fanguy and wife, Marissa, Stephen Fanguy and wife, Heather, and Philip Fanguy; one daughter, Emily Plaisance and husband, Chad; one brother, Gary Voisin; three sisters, Emily Bascle, Sharon Dupre, and Harriet LeBouef; and nine grandchildren, Veronica Pippen and husband, David, Annaliesa Fanguy, Josette Solet and husband, Noah, Nicholas Fanguy, Reese Fanguy, Ian Fanguy, Benjamin Fanguy, Dominic Fanguy, and Tristan Fanguy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Emily Voisin; one brother, Eddie Voisin, Jr; and four sisters, Laura Duplantis, Rose Voisin, Shirley DeHart, and Barbara Neal.

She was a loving wife and mother who was very strong in her Catholic faith.
