Diane Marie Vice Daigle

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diane Marie Vice Daigle, who departed this world on May 15, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on December 29, 1946, in Houma, Louisiana, Diane was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Diane embraced life with a remarkable sense of organization and detail. Known for her warm smile and unwavering kindness, she managed Gold Crest Cleaners for many years. Many in the community will fondly remember her as friendly and welcoming to all.

Loved ones will remember her for the cherished family dinners held every Sunday at her house, where she would welcome everyone with a plate of Cajun comfort food. Diane's family was her pride and joy. Each family occasion and milestone was meticulously marked in her beloved paper calendars, ensuring that no birthday or special event was ever forgotten.

She is survived by her son Todd Daigle; her daughter Terri Theriot; her grandchildren Jacob Daigle, Chase Theriot, and Alexis Theriot; her great-grandson Jack Daigle; her sister Juanita Guidry (Willie); and her brother Kennie Vice (Karen).

Diane was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Ernest Peter Daigle, with whom she shared 60 wonderful years filled with love and companionship. She is also reunited with her parents, James Vice and Rosa Mae Dolese Vice; her brother Dickie Vice; and her son-in-law Randy Theriot.

Diane's spirit will be celebrated during a funeral service in Magnolia Chapel at Chauvin Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM, following a public visitation beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow services in St. Francis #2 Cemetery in Houma, La.
