Delores Ugas Gautreaux, born on February 14, 1955, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and a long-time resident of Houma, Louisiana, passed away on June 29, 2026. She was 71 years old.

Delores is survived by her daughter, Tamar Hess; granddaughter, Aliyah Hess; brother, Rickey Ugas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Delores is preceded in death by her son, Joseph "JoJo" Nanby; parents, Cecil Ugas and Betty Jean Ugas; sister, Theresa Ledet.

Delores had a love for gardening and found joy in tending to her flowers and spending time outdoors. In addition to her love for gardening, Delores found solace and inspiration in reading her Bible, drawing strength and comfort from her faith.

Her spirit will live on in the memories she created and the love she shared.
