Della Landry

Della Rita Boudreaux Landry, 92, born February 20, 1928 a native of Little Caillou, LA and resident of Bourg, LA; passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 9:28pm. 

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend A Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, beginning at 11:00am.  Burial will follow Mass in the church cemetery.

Della is survived by her daughter, Lori Landry Cook; granddaughter, Lindsey Cook Picou and husband, Jared; and one great grand-daughter, Melodie Alexis Picou.

Della is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence “L.J.” Joseph Landry; parents,  Elam and Lydia Lapeyrouse Boudreaux. 

Della was a loving wife, parent, grandparent and great grandparent who enjoyed above all else; spending time with her family. Her granddaughter and great granddaughter were her heart. She was so proud of them. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends; but never forgotten and always loved.

The family would like to thank Notre Dame Hospice, and especially Nurse Lacey Breaux for their love and care given to Della and family in their time of need.
