Darren Patrick "Twinks" Breaux

Darren Patrick “Twinks” Breaux, 61, a native of Bayou Black, LA and resident of Houma, LA passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 25, 2022.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation Wednesday, September 28, 2022, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Liturgy will begin at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with burial following at Bayou Black Cemetery.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Nancy Gautreaux Breaux; sons, Eric Breaux (Katy) and Mark Breaux; the light of his heart, his grandson, Cody Breaux; mother, Janice Blanchard Breaux; siblings, Darlene Voclain (Tommy), Brian Breaux, and Tina Adams (Evance “P-Nut”); father and mother-in-law, Donald and Sally Gautreaux; brother-in-laws, Donald Gautreaux Jr. (Susan) and Nelson Gautreaux (Joan); sister-in-laws, Sheila Ledet (Thomas), Kathy Grabert (John), and Elizabeth Dehart Gautreaux; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edgar (E.J.) Breaux Jr.; and grandparents, Anthony and Violeda Blanchard and Edgar and Marie Breaux Sr.

Darren was an employee of Dolphin Steel Sales for over 30 years. He was a devoted Saints fan and loved to fish. Family meant everything to Darren and he enjoyed spending time with them. He was a big kid at heart. He will always be remembered by his family and friends through the shared stories and memories. He will never be forgotten and will forever be loved.

The family would like to extend their appreciation for all the care that was received from the staff at Terrebonne General Hospital, the Haydel Clinic, and the Cardio Institute of the South.
