Daniel Charles Guidry, affectionately known as "Chuck," passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026, at the age of 71. He was born on February 28, 1955, in Harahan, Louisiana to parents Hayes and Rita Guidry.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation Gathering on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. till the time of the Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. A private graveside will follow with the family.

To cherish Daniel's memory is his beloved wife of 50 wonderful years, Stephanie C. Guidry, his son, Nathaniel Jordan Guidry (Sara), his grandchildren; Leighton, Fynlie, Beckett, and Sloane, and his sister, Hazel Guidry Haddad, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Daniel is reunited in Heaven with his loving parents, Hayes and Rita Guidry.

A man of many passions, Daniel was known for his deep appreciation of genealogy, his dedication to being a skilled chef for his family and friends, and his love for the natural world, particularly roses, which he took great joy in transplanting in his garden. He will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and culinary talents, as well as his commitment to nurturing both plants and relationships.

The family extends special thanks to Dr. Donald Schwab and the staff at Terrebonne General, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center at Ochsner Medical, and Hope Care Hospice for their compassionate care and support during this difficult time.
