Daniel Dean Danos

Daniel Dean Danos, age 64, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of Pointe-Aux-Chenes and resident of Bourg. 

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home Saturday, December 30, 2023 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Pointe-Aux-Chenes. 

Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lana Bourg Danos; children, Shawn Bourg and wife Brandi, Shane Bourg and wife Ashley, Danielle Danos Breaux and husband Fredrick, Daniel Danos, Jr. and wife Nicole; grandchildren, Cody, Dylan, Kaitlyn, Dylan, Haley, Gavyn, Lexi, Amaia, Adelyn, Shawn, Jr., Aiden, Kane, Alyssa, Sophia; great-grandchildren, Saylor, Brynlee, Christine; brothers, Roy Danos, Jr., Randy Danos; sisters, Susie "Faith" Danos, Mary Naquin, Charlene Danos. 

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Roy Danos and Edith Boudreaux Danos; brothers, David Danos, Robert Danos, Anthony Danos; sisters, Lisa Cook, Brenda Verrett, Melissa Danos.

Daniel was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He lived a simple life and enjoyed cooking, fishing, riding his motorcycle and helping others in need. Daniel loved nothing more than spending time with his family, especially the grandkids. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
