With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dana Susan Webre, who left us on March 21, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on April 1, 1963, in Houma, Louisiana, Dana lived a life that embodied love, compassion, and resilience.
Dana spent her early years dedicated to child care, nurturing and guiding the young lives that crossed her path. Later, she became a dedicated Night Auditor for Comfort Inn, where her strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail were deeply appreciated by colleagues and guests alike.
Dana was a loving daughter to her mother, Iris Webre, and her father, Robert Webre. She shared a special bond with her sister, Darla Leonard (Adam), and her brothers, Dwayne Webre (Karla), Damon Webre (Mary); numerous nieces and nephews. Throughout her life, she was known for her simple yet profound approach to living; her strength of character shone brightly in her care for her family and friends.
As we reflect on Dana's journey, we remember her as a strong-willed woman who adored her family, dedicating her heart and energy to those she loved. She imparted joy to all who knew her and will be dearly missed, leaving a lasting impact on our lives.
A public viewing for Dana will be held at Chauvin Funeral Home on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will be held at a later date. Pastor Bill Parsons will officiate the service.
May Dana's heart continue to live on in all those she touched, and may we find solace in the memories we hold dear.
