Curvis Trahan

Curvis, age 84 passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017 at 10:14 p.m. He was a native of Forked Island and a resident of Gibson. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Chacahoula, La. on Friday, June 2, 2017 beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Methodist Cemetery in Gibson, La. Curvis is survived by his spouse, Geraldine Bergeron Trahan of 61 years; daughters, Stephanie T. Josephs, and Melissa T. and husband, Michael Book, Jr.; brother, Galton Trahan; grandsons, Christopher Josephs and Coty Boudreaux; great-grandchildren, Coty Boudreaux II and Madalyn Triche. Curvis is preceded in death by his parents, Whitney J. and Tecide Touchet Trahan; brother, Yolton Trahan. Curvis was a member of Gibson Fire Department, he loved sports, bowling, hunting, fishing, and golf; above all, he loved spending time with his family.
