With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Corey L. Gaspard, born on February 7, 1972, in Paincourtville, Louisiana. He left this world on July 6, 2026, at his his home at the age of 54 with his loving family at his side. Corey was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

To cherish Corey's memories is his beloved wife of 12 years, Alexis Rieve Gaspard, his cherished children; Gage Gaspard (Alyssa LeBlanc), Sophia Rieve (Nick Hill) and Lucas Rieve-Hilse; grandchildren; Oaklynn Christenson and Ian Cavalier, siblings; Aaron Gaspard (Tonia), Julia Daigle (Jay) and Jason Gaspard (Nichole), mother-in-law, Claudia Luke Rieve, sisters-in-law, Allison Wallace (Brian) and Lea Ann Gaspard, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

Corey is reunited in Heaven with his parents, Gus and Juliet Gaspard, his brothers, Mike Gaspard and Ricky Gaspard and his father-in-law, E. Christian Rieve.

Corey took immense pride in his work as a diesel mechanic and enjoyed providing for his family. His commitment to his profession mirrored his commitment to his loved ones, showcasing his strong values and unwavering support.

Outside of work, Corey cherished the time spent enjoying life's simple pleasures. He was an avid sports enthusiast, particularly devoted to fantasy football. Corey's love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for hunting and fishing. He also treasured his evenings at the casino, specifically one with a large buffet and loved his seafood!

Corey shared countless joyful moments with his beloved dogs, Jack and Ash, who brought him great happiness. His warm spirit, infectious laughter, and genuine kindness will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

In this time of sorrow, let us remember Corey as a man who lived passionately, loved deeply, and left a lasting impact on everyone he met. His legacy will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved him.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Mary Perkins Cancer Center.
