Clifford Fanguy Sr.

Clifford "Bear" Joseph Fanguy, Sr., 72, a native of Grand Calliou and a resident of Montegut, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Patty Fanguy; Children, Michelle St.Pierre (Larry), Sunshine Mitchell (Leon), Spanky Riley (Bobby), Clifford Fanguy Jr (Jennifer), Brandy Parkman, Mandy Knight (Andrew), Hattie Cole (Tim), Jennifer Dryden (Chad), Haylie Rollins (Drake), Jonathan Price (Kristopher); 32 Grandchildren; 32 Great Grandchildren plus 1 on the way; Brothers, Lawrence "Butch" Fanguy (Alice), Phillip Fanguy (Judy) Sister, Darlene Fanguy; Father and Mother-in-law, Emery and Hilda LeBoeuf; Many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Clifford John Fanguy and Evelyn Tivet Fanguy, and Sidney Goerge Daigle, Sr and Octavia Comeaux Dailge; Parents, Mitchell Fanguy Sr and Ruby Daigle Fanguy; GodParents, Howard Fanguy and Delores Fanguy; Brothers, Mitchell "Peanut" Fanguy Jr & Kenneth "Kenny" Fanguy; Sister, Charlotte Fanguy; and Grandson, Christian Joseph Boudreaux.

Clifford will be fondly remembered for his larger than life personality, amazing sense of humor, and bringing comfort through "Bear Hugs" to everyone he loved. Spending time with his family was of the utmost importance and he cherished every moment of it. He enjoyed riding his Harley, playing music, making people laugh, being a jokester, and serving his community through CoolWave SnowBall. No one was ever a stranger in his eyes.

The Family would like to thank the staff at Terrebonne General Medical Center, and St.Catherine Hospice Care for excellent care they provided.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at St. Ann Catholic Church from 10:00am until 12:00 noon. Mass will begin at 12:00 noon, followed by laying him to rest at the cemetary at St. Ann.
