It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Claude Joseph Triche known to very many as "T-Claude", a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, godfather, uncle, and friend, who departed this world on August 15, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on December 17, 1954, in Houma, Louisiana, with a larger-than-life personality, Claude lived an incredible life making a mark on all who knew him.
To cherish Claude's memories is his beloved wife, Belinda Chaney Triche; daughter, Misty Triche Kuehn and husband, Chris Kuehn; granddaughter's, Reese and Kennedy Kuehn; brothers, Kenneth, Ricky, Mickey, Kurt, and Troy Triche; sister, Donna Garcia; godchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Claude is reunited in heaven with his mother, Earnestine Marie Triche and his father, Claude Baptiste Triche both of Houma.
Claude was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his wife and family. As a loving father and "Paw Paw" he created countless memories filled with laughter and love.
Claude's warmth and compassion as a mentor and leader extended beyond his family, as he dedicated his career to law enforcement starting in 1988 with the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office. He served with pride and integrity for 31 years.
Known for his spirited personality, T-Claude loved dancing in his younger years and often lit up the room with his moves. He also loved being on the water in his boat, fishing with friends and family. His infectious laughter and playful humor made him a joy to be around.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held to honor Claude's remarkable life on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Chauvin Funeral Home in the Magnolia Chapel with Visitation beginning at 9:00 AM till time of the Celebration of Life Service beginning at 11:00 AM. All are invited to gather and celebrate the incredible legacy he leaves behind. Though he is no longer with us, the love he shared will forever resonate in our hearts. Claude will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire us and we will hold on to the numerous memories shared.
