Clark J. Ellender, age 74, a native and resident of Bourg, La., passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Clark is survived by his wife, Judy Scott Ellender; his daughter, Ashley Ellender Bankston (Freddie Anthony Bankston); his grandchild, Reese Noelle Bankston; and his sisters, Helen Ellender Pitre and Darlene Ellender Bergeron.

Clark was preceded in passing by his parents, Edward Joseph Ellender and Madeline Hutchinson Ellender; his brothers, Edward Ellender, Jr., Whitney Ellender, and Judson Ellender; and his sisters, Adeline Ellender Cunningham and Dorothy Ellender Prosperie.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation in honor of Clark on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at St. Ann Catholic Church, in Bourg, beginning at 10:00a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00a.m. Clark will be laid to rest in St. Ann Cemetery.

Clark was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, and woodworking.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
