Cindy Pellegrin

Cindy Portier Pellegrin, 59, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 17, 2021, at 7:41am. Cindy was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Gray, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend visitation on Monday, December 20, 2021, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Houma, LA from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place following visitation at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church beginning at 11:00 a.m. with services concluding after the Mass.

Cindy is survived by her daughters, Tiffany Bergeron and husband Randy, Megan Pellegrin and significant other, Danny Finucane; grandchildren, Bailey Bergeron and Travis Bergeron; brothers, Timmy Portier, Glynn Portier and wife Liz and their daughter Jessica Gifford. Cindy is also survived by many loving nieces.

Cindy is preceded in passing by her parents, Donald and Peggy Freeman Portier.

Cindy was a loving and devoted Mom and Nana, whose strength carried her through until the end.  Cindy dedicated her time and energies to the Girl Scouts of America for over two decades serving in multiple troops during that time.

Cindy will always be remembered and never forgotten by the lives she has touched during her life.  She will always and forever be loved by her family and friends.
