Christine Valdes

Christine Marie Price Valdes, 73, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 6:56pm. Christine was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to a visitation on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 12:00pm until 1:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home.  A private burial will be held at a later date. 

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic; local and CDC regulations require facemask and proper social distancing while attending funeral services. 

Christine is survived by her grandchildren, David Valdes and Brittany Valdes Boquet and husband Thomas; great grandchildren, Ivan LeBlanc, Max Boquet, Mason Boquet; niece, Tiffany Gurganus; great niece, Kira Gurganus. 

Christine is preceded in death by her husband, John F. Valdes Sr. parents, Wiley Price Sr. and Ledonia Lyon Price; son, John F. Valdes Jr.; daughter, Marcelite Valdes; sister, Caroline Gurganus; and brother, Wiley Price Jr.

Christine loved her family, most especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She also had a special love of her feline friends. She was a loving and wonderful person with a caring soul. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
