Chris Ledet

Chris Ledet, 75, beloved Spouse, Son, and Father, was called to his eternal resting place on December 5, 2025. He entered this world on October 17, 1950 in Houma, LA, born to Marvin and Lorine Ledet. He is survived by his spouse Janet Ledet; mother Lorine Ledet; son Corey Ledet; daughter Melanie Soignet; son Casey Ledet; son Cody Ledet; daughter Michelle Ledet; son Chip Ledet; son Terrel Ledet; and many grandchildren.

Chris loved spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors, and feeding everyone he could. He was a seasoned chef and a successful hunter. He was a mentor to many in his personal life as well as a leader amongst his coworkers during his numerous years at Halliburton. Chris was respected and loved by all who knew him.

Memorial Services for his many family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 9:00am to 11:00am with a Celebration of his life beginning at 10:30am.
