Chad Pinell

A visitation will be held in Chad’s honor on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 5PM to 8 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home. Visitation will be extended to Thursday, February 10, 2022, at St. Joseph in Chauvin, La. from 9:30 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Chad is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Melanie Dupre Pinell; sons, Chase (Morgan), Jace (Destiny), and Tristin; mother, Sherry Neil Pinell; grandson, Julian Pinell; and siblings, Lori Pinell, Troy Pinell (Linda), and Tony Pinell (Nicole); and mother and father-in-law, Lonnie and Chris Dupre; sister-in-law, Lynette Dupre; and brothers-in-law, Brandon Dupre (Kim) and Travis Dupre.

Chad was preceded in death by his father, Russell Pinell; and grandparents, Paul and Cecile Neil and Nolia and Alcee Pinell.

Chad loved saltwater fishing and LSU football. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was always there for family and friends when they needed him. He found joy in helping others. Always the handyman, Chad was well-known as a jack of all trades. Chad was a role-model to many. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
