Chad Thomas Authement

Chad Thomas Authement, age 57, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, March 10, 2022. He was a native and resident of Chauvin, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Thursday, March 31, 2022, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, April 1, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in church cemetery.

Chad is survived by his brother, Bartholomew "Bart" Authement Sr. and wife, Vickie; sisters, Valerie C. Authement, and Tangi C. Authement; sister-in-law, Becky Authement; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Chad was preceded in death by his parents, Reggie Joseph Sr. and Gail Frances Carlos Authement; brothers, Reggie "Jay Jay" Authement Jr. and Lodgar "Loddy" Authement; brother-in-law, Jearmie Bourg Sr.; and nephew, Felton Jude Galliano.

Chad was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a member of the motorcycle club Quest. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and 4-wheelers, fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all whose hearts he touched.
