Carole Olivier Brunet

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the departure of our beloved, Carole Olivier Brunet, 75, who passed away on Saturday, August 16th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with COPD. Carole was a native and resident of Houma, LA.

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church in Houma, LA, from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00am, with burial following mass at St. Frances De Sales Cemetery #2.

Carole is survived by her loving children, Monique Domangue (Kerry), Michelle Lovell (Shane), and Melanie Daigle; grandchildren, Cullen (Lori), Cade, and Carter Domangue, Jayce and Wyatt Lovell, and Kyle and Emilie Daigle; siblings, Robert Olivier (Ruby), Mark Olivier (Melinda), and Brother in Law, Tommy Adams. She also had one great-grandchild, Briggan Domangue, many beloved nieces and nephews, and her lifelong friend, Georgia Domangue.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Brunet; parents, Abbie and Winona Olivier; in-laws, Louis and Irma Brunet, and sister, Diane Adams, who was also her best friend.

Carole was a wonderful mother and grandmother, whose favorite pastime was spending time with her family. She served those around her and cared for both her husband and mother before their passing. Carole loved creating flower arrangements for many other family members to honor them and brighten their cemetery or mausoleum plots. She also enjoyed shopping, spending her time building puzzles, playing Scrabble with her Grandkids and her friend, Georgia, and catching up with family, friends, and classmates on Facebook. In her younger days, her favorite place to be was the beach. She will be terribly missed by all her family and friends.
