It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carolyn Blanchard Luke, who left us on October 23, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on July 13, 1944, in Houma, Louisiana, Carolyn spent her life in Bourg, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and vibrant spirit.

We invite all who knew and loved Carolyn to join us for her funeral service at Holy Rosary Church on October 27, 2026, from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Following the service, burial will take place in the church cemetery.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Patrick Luke; sons, Don Luke (Tessia), Lane Luke (Sadie); grandchildren, Dustin Luke (Megan), Hannah Luke, Kacy Luke; great-grandchildren, John Luke, Mallory Luke; brother, Mark Blanchard (Karen).

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Rannie Blanchard, Sr. and Minerva Garibaldi Blanchard; brother, Rannie Blanchard, Jr. 

Carolyn was a dedicated homemaker and loved nothing more than spending time with her family. Her greatest joys came in the moments spent laughing and making memories with her loved ones.

A long-time member of the Lions Club, Carolyn was active in her community and devoted herself to helping others. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting beautiful blankets and cherished her camping trips where she created unforgettable family moments.

Carolyn will be greatly missed but will forever remain in our hearts.
