Carolyn Lajaunie

Carolyn LeBlanc LaJaunie, aged 73, a native of Marrero and resident of Algiers, passed away Tuesday May 11,2021 at 4:32 PM.

A visitation in her honor will take place on Tuesday May 18,2021 in the Chapel Dauphine of Chauvin Funeral Home 5899 Highway 311 Houma, La. From 9:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM.  Interment to follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Gray,LA.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter Gwendolyn and husband David Conrad of Westwego,LA .    Sister, Jeanette L. Dufrene and husband Gerard and their son,  Jan-Michael of Houma.  Daughter-in-law, Raeann Leggett LaJaunie Hensley of Covington, GA. Grandchildren, Nicholas  and Lauren LaJaunie,  Anastasia LaJaunie and Kenneth Atwood and Lindsie Conrad.  Great-grandchildren, Brady LaJaunie, Jason and Carter Dempsey, Tyleith  Rae, Khloe, Kollins, T.J., Ella and Tonya

She was preceded in death  by her husband Lawrence LaJaunie,Jr.  Sons, Lawrence III, and Troy LaJaunie. Brothers, Curtis and Daniel LeBlanc and her parents, Edmond W. and Sidonia Stansbury LeBlanc. 

She loved going to Casinos, interacting with friends, relatives and neighbors.  Her cooking skills were some of the best.
