Carol Ann Bergeron Eagle, age 65, a native and resident of Houma, LA., passed away peacefully on September 29, 2026.

Carol is survived by her husband, Richard Eagle; her daughters, Alyssa Naquin (Brett) and Amber Trahan (Josh Sr.); her grandchildren, Josh Trahan, Jr. and Lainey Trahan; her Godchild, Crystal Horner; and her brother, David Brgeron.

Carol was preceded in passing by her parents, Stanley Edward Bergeron, Jr. and Myrtle Pellegrin Bergeron; and her brothers, Kenneth Bergeron and Dale Bergeron.

Carol was a loving woman whose greatest joys in life were found in the simple things she cherished most. She enjoyed playing bingo with friends, tending to her plants, and spending time with her beloved dog, Corkey, who brought her endless companionship and happiness. Carol also loved traveling and especially treasured her visits to the family camp in Mississippi, where she created many lasting memories with those she loved.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of nature, her adventurous spirit, and the happiness she found in sharing life's special moments with family and friends. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May her memory bring comfort to those whose lives she touched.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of St. Joseph's Hospice (Brad) and Carol's lifelong friend, Jamie Jackson, for their care and compassion.
