Bruce Clark

Bruce Clark, 90, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 11:25pm. Bruce was a native of Mississippi and resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Chauvin Funeral Home from 10:00am until service time.  Ministry Services will begin following visitation at 1:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home with burial taking place in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.

Bruce is survived by his loving family, his son, Timothy Clark; grandchildren, David and Max; nephews and nieces, Mike Clark and wife Janis; Wesley Walker and wife Carolyn, Kathy Smith and husband Jim; and many loving great nieces, great nephews and their children.

Bruce is preceded in death by his loving wife, Marie Morello Clark; parents, Marie Golden Clark and Glover Clark; siblings, James Clark, Doris Ingram, Matsy Walker; niece, Karen Ivy, and nephew, David Ingram.

He was an avid  fisherman and proud alumni & member of the Ole Miss football team.

Bruce was an US Air Force Veteran who came to Louisiana to work in the oilfield which ultimately lead to his 46 year career as State Farm Agent & owner of Bruce Clark Insurance Agency. Bruce also dedicated time to the community serving on the Terrebonne Parish School Board.

Bruce will be fondly remembered by his family members and many friends for his kindness and generosity.

The family would like to especially thank his caregivers, Marilyn, Betty, Dana, Amae, and Alma who lovingly assisted Bruce and family during his times of need. The family also would like to thank Stephanie Bergeron and his great nephew John Morello for helping out Bruce in so many ways over the years.

A special thanks to Haydel Memorial Hospice for all the love and care shown to Bruce and family.
