It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Howard Brian Williams, affectionately known as Brian, who left this world on October 28, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on September 18, 1961, in Lafayette, LA, to parents Howard and Verna Williams.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge. Visitation will continue on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at Pellerin Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 am with A Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 1:00 PM at. St. Bernard Catholic Church of Breaux Bridge with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Brian's spirit will forever remain in our hearts, and we invite all who knew him to join us for this reflective gathering.

Brian's early years were marked by the occasional competitive spirit and his passion for sports; he played baseball and football in his younger years with an enthusiasm that would carry into his adult life. In his 30s, he played in an adult softball league and the occasional competitive spirit, as evidenced by the treasured trash can full of marbles he proudly claimed as a child. Later in life he thoroughly enjoyed playing pool, and was so talented that he brought home many trophies from his victories.

Being a native of Lafayette, LA, he graduated from Northside High School and met the love of his life, Shari, where they would soon start their loving family and move to Houston, TX. He was an avid fisherman, Brian cherished the quiet moments spent by the water, often sharing his catch with family and friends. His love for cooking was always appreciated by his family, especially when he hosted his famous fish fry gatherings. Often turning into more of a family reunion.

To cherish Brian's memories is his beloved wife of 38 years, Shari Mouton Williams, whom he married on September 24, 1988, as well as his two cherished children; Kaelynn Jennings (Stephen) and Jarrod Williams (Andrei), his two loving grandchildren; Jaycee and Skye Jennings, his in-laws, Kenneth and Eva Dell Mouton, his siblings; Ricky Williams (Sherrie), Randy Williams (Karen), Madonna Golson (Joe), Ladanna Deshotels , Lyle Williams (Shelly), and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Brian is reunited in Heaven with his parents, Howard and Verna Williams and his brother, Lynn Williams.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Jarrod Williams, Stephen Jennings, Lyle Williams, Ricky Williams, Randy Williams and Blaine Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jonathon Hooper and Brandon Williams.
