Brenda Dubois

Brenda Elizabeth Frisella Dubois, 72, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday December 10, 2025. Brenda was a native of Houma LA and a resident of Schriever, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm and continue on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Dulac, LA from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Service will follow Friday visitation at Holy Family Church at 11:00am with burial following in the church cemetery.

Brenda is survived by her loving family; her daughter, Amy Dubois Foret and husband Jeramie; grandchildren, Hunter and Savannah Rae Foret, Kevin Moore, brother, Bennett Frisella; sister, Susan Frisella Blanchard and husband Ryan, nieces, Julie Frisella, Jenna Frisella and husband Bradley Ledet, nephew, Jeff Frisella, nieces Heather Frisella Thibodeaux and husband Tyler, Hannah Frisella and husband Kenneth Autin; aunt, Nola LeBlanc; nephews, Finley Ledet, Jax Bennett Thibodeaux; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Brenda is preceded in passing by her parents, Anthony Tony Frisella Sr. and Rita Doris Frisella; brother, Anthony Tony Frisella Jr. "Sam"; sister, Crystal Frisella; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Brenda was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, friend and all around wonderful woman. She was amazing, selfless and everyone she met she loved. She was a joker, a spitfire and always had to have the last word. She was hard working and never complaint about anything. She was willing to help anyone in need. Brenda worked for the Dulac Shrimp factory as a truck driver in her younger years. She was also a School bus driver for Terrebonne Parish, and a dump truck driver for Flying B. Trucking. She could outwork any man in the trucking industry and no job or task was ever too large for her.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the nursing staff of Terrebonne Health Systems on 4 South and 5 South, Dr. Michael Couvillon, nurses, Tyler Verrett, Bre Laramie, David Lyons, Jessica Doxie, Elton Sweet, Felix A., Gabby G., Mary Dardar, Shrija S., Alisha Doe, CNA's, Wonda Woods, Jordin S., Ihyrynia, Andrea, Kristin, Demetria, Whitney, Thibodaux Regional Health Systems ER Staff and St. Joseph Hospice for their love, support and care given to Brenda and family. Schriever Fire Department and Acadian EMS and a special thanks by family to Venessa Davidson, Sherri Martin, Desaire Lirett for support given to the family and helping all their ways. A huge and loving "Thank you" to Bennett Frisella and Susan Blanchard and Daria Foret and all the family, friends and staff; too numerous to mention all the wonderful people who helped Brenda and family in their time of need. Your help did not go unnoticed.
