Bonnie Schouest

Bonnie Chauvin Schouest, age 73, passed away peacefully at her home, Friday December 17, 2021. She was a native and longtime resident of Houma, La.

A private service will be held by the family.

Bonnie is survived by her mother, Amelia Belanger Chauvin; sons, Todd Schouest, Troy Schouest and wife Jennifer; daughter, Amy Schouest; grandchildren, Celeste, Travis, Brittany, Madison, Hayes, Kandice, Kailey, Karley; great grandchildren, Camrynn, Ridge, Rylan; brother, Kevin Chauvin and wife Janita; sister, Nona Prejean and husband Neal.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Schouest, Jr.; father, Nolan Chauvin.

Bonnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed painting, fishing, gardening and spending time with her family. Bonnie was artistic and loved all types of crafts. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
