Bonnie Robichaux

July 26, 1947 — November 18, 2021

Bonnie Theresa LeCompte Robichaux, age 74, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, November 18, 2021. She was a native and a resident of Chauvin, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday, November 22, 2021, beginning at 9:30 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with burial following in church cemetery.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Monica R. Arceneaux and husband, James "Jimmy"; sons, Darren P. Robichaux and wife, Missy, and Benjy J. Robichaux and wife, Wendy; brothers, Rickey LeCompte and wife, Abby, and Denny LeCompte and wife, Stephanie; sister-in-law, Maureen LeCompte; grandchildren, Jason Arceneaux and wife, Morgan, Kourtney Robichaux, James Arceneaux Jr. and companion, Brittni, Kyle Robichaux, Rebecca Arceneaux and fiancé, Austin Burgess, Mirranda Robichaux, Lilly Robichaux, and Cade Robichaux; great-grandchildren, Bella Arceneaux, Charlie Arceneaux, Kilyn Lyons, Addelyn Arceneaux, Liliana Theriot, Lena Arceneaux, Javien Jones, Ari Arceneaux, Ja'vari Lawrence, Tatum Burgess, and Piper Burgess.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Peter Robichaux; parents, Louis John Sr. and Laura Lee Pellegrin LeCompte; brothers, Bobby LeCompte, and Louis "Butch" LeCompte Jr.

Bonnie was a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She retired from TARC after over 35 years of service. She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society. Bonnie was a breast cancer survivor. She enjoyed playing po-keno, baking, going on cruises and to the casinos, attending activities with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and spending time with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all whose hearts she touched.
