Visitation will be held at St. Gregory Church on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in the church. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery #2.
Betty is survived by two daughters, Sherry Blanchard (wife of Kenneth), Vicki Guy (wife of Glynn); three sons, Aubry Anthony Trahan, Jr. (husband of Mary), Robin Trahan (husband of Loretta), and Gerard; sisters, Bonnie Jackson and Shirley Suire; two step-daughters, Sandra Machen (wife of Rock), and Judith Theriot (wife of Herman); and numerous grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Aubry Trahan, Sr. of Houma, La for 60 years, and Roy Thibodeaux of Chauvin, La for 5 years; mother, Julia Olivier; father, Austin Olivier, Sr.; four sisters, Gloria Zeringue, Cutsy Eschete, Villa Mae Duplantis, and Delo Gorr; two brothers, Austin Oliver and Bobby Olivier all of Houma, La; two step-daughters, Jennie Louviere and Veralyn Price of Chauvin, La.
Betty was a wonderful, caring mother, step-mother, mother-in-law, and friend to have. Her faith and her family were her life! She also loved to crochet and did many rosaries for everyone, including the sick. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
