Betty Ann LeCompte, age 88, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2026. She was a native and resident of Chauvin, La.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin, La on Friday, November 6, 2026 from 10:00 AM until service time at 12:00PM. Burial will take place at a later date.

Betty is survived by her children, Dean LeCompte, Carey LeCompte, Arlene Lapeyrouse (Stephen); grandchildren, Channing (Stacy), Miranda, Jordan, Jared, Trevor, Nicholas (Michelle), Nicole Luke (Tyler), Caleb Lapeyrouse (Maci); 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Dupre (Floyd).

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond LeCompte; parents, Gustave and Eula Pellegrin; sisters, Rena Thibodaux, Grace Chauvin.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
